Originally founded in 1983 by Virginia natives, Kenneth Shifflett and long time friend, Anthony Clatterbuck, Ace Carpentry, now owned and operated by Kenneth Shifflett, has become one of the premier framing companies in the Mid Atlantic region.
Since inception, and with each step in the progression to where the Company stands today, Ace Carpentry and its founders have prided themselves on their dedication and ability to deliver quality product and service while always holding themselves accountable and guarantying the results of their efforts.
Although originally founded over twenty five years ago as a local framing provider, and because of the successes achieved in that arena, Ace Carpentry, Inc., has developed into a more diversified business offering framing as well as complete turnkey packages in several states across the country.
Ace Carpentry is now one of the largest framing companies in the area- framing between 2,500 and 3,000 units per year for a diversified client base, most of which are nationally known production builders. Although Ace Carpentry has specialized in residential framing, including single family homes, townhomes, apartments and condominiums, its recent focus has been on the United States Military and the privatization efforts that have been in place for the past several years. Ace Carpentry is currently framing for both new housing construction as well as renovations on many military bases across the country. From Texas to Maryland, and Pennsylvania to Florida, Ace Carpentry continues to provide a quality product while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and dedication.
